Did They Evaluate The 75 VW Rabbit Basic Model ? I Recall I Was Working For Volkswagen When These Things Hit Thee U.S. Market. The Little Car Was Quick With Its Little Engine And Fun To Drive, But The Interior !
It Had Cardboard (?), I Kid You Not, Interior Door Trim Panels, Not Suitable For U.S. Consumption.

They also did that for the Yugo.
