I have taken it to the shop a few times–mechanic couldn’t recreate the noise–said it might be a sticking caliper. But it seems worse when I have passengers. Alone I rarely hear that sound–more grinding than squeaking. I’ve had it realigned already, and the tires are new and balanced.

I too would be inclined to suspect the brakes.

Is it intermittant?

I notice it most when I’m slowing down and/or turning left, and it’s always worse when I have a passenger for some reason.
