# My car i just bought

okay so i just bought a used Mitsubishi eclipse and the guy told me that it starts out slow in first gear so what should i do ? or what can i do to get it fixed?

“it starts out slow in first gear”

There are a lot of possible causes for this somewhat vague description of symptoms, and nobody can tell you from afar exactly what the problem might be. You need to take this car to a qualified mechanic for a thorough inspection and diagnosis, but unfortunately, that should have taken place before you bought the car.

It might also be helpful if you let us know if it is an automatic or manual transmission. If it an automatic it would be a good idea to take a look at and a sniff of the transmission fluid. Does it smell bad?

You’re going to have to be a lot more decriptive. What year, how many miles does it have, is it a manual or automatic, and exactly how is it acting improperly in first gear.

Or is it just a slow car off the line.
