I have a 1994 mustang v6. It always takes a couple extra seconds to start. It has never got any worse and I have had the car for over a year. It doesnt sound like the starter because it turns fast and then finally turns over. It never takes more than one time to start if you just leave the key turned it will always start. Any ideas?

Have the fuel system checked out. Leaving the key on could mean several different problems with the fuel system. A good mechanic will pinpoint the problem in no time.
