Motorcycles in cosmoline

Then there was the $50.00 Corvette (sometimes a Caddy), either the husband got caught cheating and the wife sold it to get even, or someone died in the Corvette and owner could not get the smell out.

I didn’t know that. See what you can learn here?

Fun. It’s optional.

You discount the power of Cosmoline. As I mentioned earlier, the story I heard was the army had a contract to buy them past 1945 and as a courtesy to the manufacturer held on to them so they didn’t flood the market.

See? You have heard it.

I heard it as a Caddy. Somebody made a country song out of it. Why a wife did what her run-off-with-a-floozie husband asked her to do took the starch out of it for me. Nothing to do with Cosmoline.

Yup!
I actually posted about it in this forum a few months ago.

I searched on Cosmoline first.

$50 Vette had todo with myths and legends. Jeeps&Harleys might have been true in 1946.

Yup!
But, by the mid-late '60s?
Not likely.
