oh, very interesting. I never even thought about checking for residual pressure. I’ll put that in my pocket for when I start troubleshooting the fuel system if a few more EGR/electrical checks don’t pan out. Thanks!

Hey, you were right @the same mountainbike! Found an ignition coil here: [http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/NEW-96-00-Nissan-Pathfinder-3-3L-Ignition-Coil-\_W0QQcmdZViewItemQQhashZitem3f03d27bc5QQitemZ270647065541QQptZMotorsQ5fCarQ5fTruckQ5fPartsQ5fAccessories#ht\_1489wt\_941](http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/NEW-96-00-Nissan-Pathfinder-3-3L-Ignition-Coil-_W0QQcmdZViewItemQQhashZitem3f03d27bc5QQitemZ270647065541QQptZMotorsQ5fCarQ5fTruckQ5fPartsQ5fAccessories#ht_1489wt_941) Dropped it in and lo and behold! Thanks to everyone for the input on this. That part came in like 2 days and went right in place.
