Just got a 07 cooper s, never ever needed a new clutch in decades of driving-now i’m worried-did I buy the wrong thing? So far it’s fine, at 11 weeks , it’s the getrag trans so hopefully it’ll be fine??!! Already had a bad gas episode (12%ethanol) which had it been worse could have been very expensive.

It’s an 07 and has decades of driving! good trick, do you have a time machine? Or is it a 1907 model?

How many miles in these decades of driving?

The MINI2 seems to have more than its fair share of clutch failures, Google MINI2 clutch problem, you’ll find plenty of references.
