Get a live trap or a snap trap and keep your windows closed in the future.

Your state’s department of agriculture office has true experts in rhodent control. They may have some suggestions.

Here in Mexico, we installed ultrasonic insect repellers in our house. No more rats or mice, and maybe one scorpion every three months. This means having to connect a power cord at night,and disconnecting it in the morning, if the car is a place where you can. Check Home Depot for the repellers.

They have really powerful ones here; I don’t think the ones in the US are that powerful, but one can try.

A six-pack of “four-way” mouse traps and some cheese or peanut butter for bait… Put 3 in the front foot-wells and 3 in the back…
