# Mercedes E320 1999 with EIS System Issue

Yesterday, I was not able to start my car. The Mercedes E320 1999 with 95k was towed to the dealership. I was told that the problem is with the EIS system. The cost to replace it is $1700 with new key. Can someone tell me if there is another cheaper solution? Is the price right?
