I need a mechanic in Salt Lake City UT that is reasonable and good at his job. I used to have a mechanic named Angelo who worked at Midas but they won’t tell me where he went and the new guy is rude! Anyone know someone good and who won’t rip me off!!?

Great answer, cappy. A few weeks ago, in Virginia, my daughter-in-law’s car failed to start and a local shop selected at random also supplied a random diagnosis, stating it needed a rebuilt motor. I dug on the mechanic files page, and found a really highly rated mechanic, who quickly diagnosed the problem as a frozen a/c. That mechanic simply had a lot more extremely happy ratings.
