How does that saying go, borrow a million and the bank owns you, but horror a billion and you own the bank.

Growth by buying companies? Been to a hotel lately? Same game plan.

Used to drive me nuts. We’d go for a car loan and the banker would ask, can you afford this bing? More interested in my balance sheet than theirs.
