I have a F250 Diesel with 113,000 miles on it. It has been a great truck but lately it has lousy pick-up. I step on the gas and it goes no where! Sometimes the engine revs other times it doesn’t respond at all. I recently moved from NY to Aberdeen, NC so I do not know any mechanics and being a woman find it hard to trust one. Ideas?

I had a friend who had a Ford diesel van. About every 100,000 miles he would have this and it required new fuel filters. On a diesel, these are quite expensive to replace so you will want to make sure that is what is causing the problem before doing this.
