# Loud noise after transmission repair

Transmission just repaired. Driven less than 40 miles. sudden very loud metallic clanging from front end, like heat shield or exhaust system? Noise occurred whether moving or idling. Went around the block and parked it for 2 days. Towed to repair shop. No noise. Did something fall off?
