I have a 2006 Saturn Vue and one day while I was driving I slammed on my breaks to avoid running a red light and now my radio isn’t working… Everything is lit up, showing radio stations and music that is playing but there isn’t any sound. I pulled all the fuses to the radio and disconnected the battery for a couple of hours and still no sound. Is there anyway to test an amplifier? Any advice would be appreciated.

Well it’s brakes, not breaks, but check the main speaker connections on the radio to see if they came loose. Other than that, could be coincidental.
