My son recently purchased a 1989 Jeep Cherokee and the steering wheel is loose. Is this something that can be fixed easily and could he do it? ---

Yes, it’s not a major repair. If he’s mechanically inclined and willing to invest $20 in a repair manual he can fix it himself. The key thing he needs to be wary of is the airbag, so tell him to be sure to follow the manual instructions to disarm it. ---

I don’t think an 89 Jeep has a airbag. Is this a tilt column? ---
