Purchase a street rod **or** start a business??

**Wow! Reminds me of a question my father would ask, _“Do you walk to work or carry your lunch?”_**

As far as advice for choosing a reliable car that doesn’t need to be reliable, there are way too many variables at work.

Do you live in a rust belt where salt is applied to roads? Rust is a major factor and it can correlate somewhat with age of vehicle.

I’d much prefer buying a car that is currently on the road with plates/tags and insurance over one parked someplace with weeds growing up around it or stripped of plates/tags and insurance and just parked.

A daily driver, in use, proves it can be driven daily, still a little bit chancey. The others are definite pigs in pokes, much bigger gamble.
