My wife and I are looking at possibly trading in our '07 Ford Fusion SE i4 w/ 36k miles for an 06 Chevy Equinox with 28k miles. I’m looking to get some current owners opinions about the Chevy, likes/dislikes that they have regarding their vehicle or recommendations for other vehicles in the category. Our primary reason for looking for a SUV is the increase in luggage space. Thanks in advance!

Expect to spend about 20% more for gas with the Equinox. Otherwise, the cost for maintenance and repairs should be about the same. I always liked the rear seat that moved forward or back; maybe that is on the 2006? While I don’t own an Equinox, I have owned many GM cars and have always been happy with them. We own 3 just now.
