need a good volvo mechanic; took a 90 Volvo in to someone for some work on the steering, now it seems there are more problems given various noise, and shakiness. not from Palo Alto and so not sure who might be good. ---

You could take a look at the Mechanix list on this website. These are recommended mechanics in different parts of the country and you may be lucky enough to find one near you. ---
