# Long windshield crack

Woke up to this crack that’s probably only going to get bigger. I’m screwed right?

If you have full coverage insurance you might be covered otherwise you will just have a glass shop replace it . It can even be done at your home or while you are at work.

I just had a similar problem with my Mustang. I called my insurance, called an auto glass company, they came out and replaced my windshield in my garage and the insurance paid the whole bill. Done.

Each state has their own insurance laws. Here in NH glass is covered as a separate rider, where as states like MA and NY glass comes under comprehensive.

Safelight’s website will tell you how much the windshield will cost self-pay and you can schedule online at their shop or to your home or work.

My windshield would have been $436 out of pocket
