# Locking system on '87 BMW 325i

I recently purchased and had installed a new battery. Prior to that I could lock both doors and the trunk from the trunk with one key twist. Since the battery change I must lock each door and the trunk separately. Can I fix this or do I need to go to a BMW dealer?

BMW is listed here [http://www.aa1car.com/library/battery\_disconnect\_problems.htm](http://www.aa1car.com/library/battery_disconnect_problems.htm) that can have problems with the modules when the battery is disconnected. The vehicle may have to be taken to the dealer so BCM can be reprogramed with a scanner.
