Anyone know of a source of aftermarket trunk lifter gas struts for the 2001 - 2004 Lexus LS 430? The Lexus dealers want about $400 for a pair!

 Thanks,

The auto parts stores sell replacement lift struts for about $15 to $20 each. Be sure you get the correct listed one. The physical characteristics need to be correct.

Have you tried your local auto parts stores?

They should be able to match you up with some universal struts, and lifetime guarantee to boot.
