# Leaving the country for a year - mothball or sell my Subaru 2018 Forester?

The warranty on the OP’s vehicle is from Subaru of **America**.  
Subaru of Iceland (or Denmark, or… whatever…) is a separate corporate entity, so it is possible that the US warranty would not be effective in Iceland.
