Let me count the reasons:

1. It’s super loud
2. The 2 stroke fumes gassing them out
3. The visibility issue
4. The need to carry copious amounts of cooling water
5. Constant spray on windshield- see “#3”

That being said, it looks like fun, it’s novel and I only wish I still had the time and physical condition to do stuff like this. Oh to be that young again… infinite time and invincible to boot!

Anyone with a boat knows that the engine is worth more than the boat/motor combination. I bought this outboard- it came with a boat attached… 😄

No idea is so awful it can’t be implemented.  
The Ford motor in the boat would be way cooler.
