I have conducted searches for U-Pull-It yards near Columbus GA where I am ordered to be stationed, but apparently the copyright for that turn doesn’t extend into this region. If I look for “Junk Yards” I might get a PC dope slap, but “Pick A Part”, Pull a Scrap, how am I supposed to know what they call it from county to county. I want a DIY used parts emporium/museum of wrecked dreams near 31905 zip. Any suggestions?

Try ‘salvage yards’ or ‘used auto parts’. Unfortunately, some may not be obvious by their name, like ‘Pull A Part’, so you may need to check out the website or call to see if you can pull it yourself.

“used auto parts georgia” got oodles of hits. Do this with a map a Georgia in another window, and you will find a short list of used car parts yards near you. Or talk to your new buds at the fort and find out what they do.
