# Internal door lock on drivers side squeaks

I have a 2000 Jeep Grand Cherokee. The lock mechanism in the drivers side door has started squeaking, both when operated from the door and the remote. What is likely to be wrong with it? Can I fix this myself and save the $300 bucks? How?
