I was minding my own business, when my air conditioner started blowing hot air.

I took the car to my mechanic, and it was working fine.

So–sometimes it works, and sometimes it doesn’t.

Anyone have any ideas as to why?

Thanks.

Did your mechanic do anything?

Without more information it’s tough to guess whether it’s the AC system or a blend door. Since it’s a Lincoln TC, and I think they have vacuum operated blend doors, I’d guess the blend door. But until it fails again, I’m just wildly guessin’.
