It says there’s a few vehicle that remain unaffected: Nissan Altima, Jeep Compass, RAM 1500 pickups. I heard an Intel exec saying he believed the shortage will continue until at least 2024. What are auto manufacturers doing to mitigate this problem in the short term? Removing features? Just not shipping? etc?? I think I heard that some manufactures are removing Apple-centric entertainment electronics from their vehicles and selling them without, b/c they can’t get the chips.

That was interesting. I do see a lot more 2022 Classic Rams and 2022 Jeep compass’ on the lots vs the other trims.
I personally think it will go to ordering vehicles and if you buy off the lot you will pay the bigger price tag of convenience with possibly settling on options.
