Does anyone know much about the Nissan Leaf? I am interested in an electric vehicle, but would like to go farther than 100 miles.

Well, then don’t buy a Leaf. You want a hybrid. A plug-in hybrid will be the ideal vehicle for you when they are available in your price range.

In the mean time, it is not impossible to convert a hybrid to plug-in hybrid. The performance just might not be what billions in development dollars can get from a major manufacturer.
