AAA jumped my car and after that the onboard monitor and some guages stopped working. BMW wants $1000 to fix because the “instrument cluster is fried”. I have submitted a damage claim with AAA but don’t have much faith.

Why did your BMW need a jump start?

A relative sat in the car with the motor off and had the radio and fan on while waiting for me to return from a doctor’s appt. Battery got low.
