# Inside drivers door handle broken - Camry

I have a 1998 Camry and the inside drivers side handle is broken. I have to open the window and open the door from the outside. How hard would this be for me to fix? Where do I get instructions? If I take it to the dealer, how much will it cost? Thanks.

You’ll most likely have to remove the inner door panel, but the handle itself should not be hard to replace after the panel is removed. I’d look for a replacement handle in a junk yard rather than pay for a new one.

A service manual, such as Haynes, for your Camry would have step-by-step instructions for removing the door panel.
