My trusted mechanic said the immobilizer system is preventing the car from starting. The indicator light is blinking. I have tried all 3 keys including the valet key. He called Honda asking for the reset procedure and they won’t give it to him. I also called Honda and they said I need to bring it to the dealer.

Is there anything I can try before taking it to the dealer? Does anyone know the reset procedure?

 Thanks,

 Franco

If there’s nothing in the owner’s manual you’re probably going to have to visit the dealer.

Sounds expensive.

Have you tried a Google search for this problem?
