Anyone have an opinion on the new Lexus 2013 ES300h? What do you think about the new Lexus Hybrid engine? Lexus has had hybrids for quite a few years.

Thoughts ???

I’d have no problem buying one, it’s a well-tested system. I have similar technology in my Ford hybrid, works great.

Starting with the Prius which has a 10 year, 150 k warranty on it’s battery , then the Camry and Hylander, Toyota hybrids have successfully given good service. A hybrid Lexus is a good way to arrive at cocktail parties In green.

Isn’t that car just the Lexus version of the Camry hybrid?

It’s slower than the ES350. Drive it and see if you like it. If so, you can save a lot on gas; about $1000 for every 10,000 miles you drive. You could easily pay the difference in purchase price in 4 or 5 years.
