@Whitey That’s pretty much the best advice. For this particular one, I’d do your idea kicked up a notch: Erect a makeshift tarp tent over the car and set up space heaters on tables (so they’re not in the water when the ice melts).

I would normally agree but it was 20 below here and a water main break over night. They can pour out huge amounts of water without warning. I think the picture I saw was from either a water main break or a fire hose though.

That is a tough nut to crack. April is just around the corner, though I would pour some salt around the wheels, then start chipping my way in.
@bscar’s MR-2 picture looks like yet another mistake by the lake. I think that a storm whipped lake water over the wall and covers this car. The solution is not park it there. Unless the owner wanted a picture to talk about.
