Are you replacing the light itself, or just the bulb?

If it’s the bulb, there might be information about it in the owner’s manual. Assuming you still have the manual.

Many bulbs are replaced from the rear of the light fixture. Others require removal of the fixture itself.

An auto parts store may also have information on how to replace the bulb.
