I have a 2018 Honda CRV. Excellent auto except the FM radio reception is marginal. Is there any way to amplify the antenna or any other reception inprovement?

I tried an antenna amplifier once, did not seem to benefit reception. If you want to cut holes in your vehicle you could try relocating the antenna to the roof but I doubt you would gain much, if anything.

You could check out another one with the same radio, see if it also has poor reception. If not, it’s your car, and the dealer should fix it.

The coax between the antenna and the radio may have a defect in it such as a kink, a tear in the shield or a poor connection at one end or the other. One of the connectors might not be fully seated too.
