Hi all -

Question on the front bumper of a 2014 Hyundai Elantra.

My front driver’s side bumper was damaged in an accident many years ago. It was minor enough that I didn’t feel the need to have it repaired. Recently it seems to have become more loose; I don’t know if it was hit again, or if it happened naturally.

My questions:

1. What is the likelihood that the bumper could fall off, or at least continue to loosen?

2. Any ideas what this kind of repair might run me?

Thanks so much.

It is a Bumper cover and any body shop can fix this.

As for cost you will just have to get estimates from a local shop where ever you are because rates vary by location.

I have seen your pics. There is a large hidden bracket between the 2 bumper parts to hold them together.Try to snap the bumper back inside the bracket until it is secured. No special tools needed.
