How much warming up to warm up a car?

Well let’s be honest. You hurried up and started it ahead of time to make sure it passed the test after sitting for nine months. So you must hav3 felt a little uneasy about it. He unbooted it after the truck started. So you know you were stretching things a little.

I understand being a little upset. The house next door was for sale. I had my riv in the driveway with for sale signs on it. Had been that way for quite a while. The realtor came over to check If i had current tabs and insinuated that my car was hurting his sale. Never did like the guy but I just moved my car in the garage anyway. People don’t like cars sittking and no5 moving.

I know I’ll catch 4377 for stating such, but, some people, like said realtor, really need to get.

a.

life.

You are missing something, it was Not MY property, it was a place of business and perfectly legal, now once the tow company took possession of the vehicle, they had to follow a very strict process, I have in the past gone through that process to take possession of a vehicle(s), but that was when I owned my Shop, but in this/these case(s) I let the tow company handle all the red tape, but I always informed and documented everything just in case, as well as had witnesses to the call…

BTW, I always noted when I contacted the customer, or tried to contact them as well as left voice messages to inform them of the vehicle about to be towed, I was legal, but never had to involve the police, now the tow company had to go through all the red tape in order to sell/auction the vehicle off…

And for your viewing pleasure… lol

https://www.tn.gov/revenue/title-and-registration/vehicle-titling/abandoned.html

It all depends on if their is any kind of codes and or ordinances against such, some places you could tell the realtor to go pound sand… lol
But if it is against codes or whatever, then the realtor is within their right to complain about the vehicle and it can/will hurt the sale of said property…

Nope. On my private driveway. Just have to have current registration and be parked on a paved plot. Street parking is restricted to like 12 hours.

A little back story. The guy ran a hardware store when I was in high school. So I’d just like to go in there after school and look at all the hardware. He watched us like a hawk thinking we were wanting to steal something. Just liked to see tools and bolts etc. never felt welcomed. So I’ve disliked the guy for many years. My wife thinks he’s a great guy but she never liked looking around a hardware store. I’d never steal from a store. I will confess to sweet corn and apples though.

@ChrisTheTireWhisperer

Are you saying YOUR vehicle was towed because a neighbor didn’t want to look at it?:fearful:

Please state what would make you think such a tow ever happened to me.

Thank you.

The “Apt 3E complaining about 4A’”s older car was a hypothetical, that’s all.

What happened to @LoudThunder ‘s comment?

I didn’t see a problem with it?

It got removed when I removed the post it was in response to.

I think most people would have suggestion(s) for what that realtor could/ should go do…..

That creates quite a quandary, if a posting will be deleted if the post that it was replied to was deleted, then if a reply to a reply that was replied to was deleted, it could create quite a cascade of posts being deleted.

I hope my posting is not a… “I know you think you understand what you thought I wrote but I’m not sure you realize that what you read is not what I meant.”

:joy:

I get that a lot on forums, and for an unexpected reason: I’m so blunt and straight-forward! lol

Your comment was okay in my book

look up the video “Man uses junk cars as revenge on neighbors”. It’s from 2017 and reported in Las Vegas.
