As i said they will determine what factors contribute to belt degradation and maximize all of them in their testing. A test fixture that mimics belt loading during cold starts, high humidity and temp for example. I said specifically they will not test every condition because they don’t care about those data points. Design/reliability engineers do this kind of testing all the time to establish mttf/mtbf
