# How does a person wear a clutch out?

I taught both my stepsons to drive on a M/T. A 1973 Mustang I6, 3spd, floor shift, console mounted parking brake. I had them practice on normal hills. The “final exam” was on a rural very steep hill with a stop sign at the top. It was known as “suicide hill” when I was a teenager. They passed with flying colors!

Being a flatlander ast some stop signs in San Francisco I was afraid to hit the gas too hard for fear of flipping over.
