# How do you change the heater hose on the x type jaguar?

I seem to see no way of changing the heater hoses on the x type jaguar. It seems to be blocked by a cross beam to get any tools in there. The jaguar service manual is no help either. just says remove hose clips ( when changing heater core)  
Do you need to pull the engine to get to the hoses

This is probably the longest long shot I’ve ever done but… assuming an xj model or other? good link. Might get some help there.
