On an emergent transport this afternoon Letsuck’s GPS Navigation instructed to pass a major arterial and continue to the next exit. Adds ~3 more miles and more traffic signals. (Thought I had told it the wrong hospital.) I.gnored it and went directly to the hospital. How much did we pay for this expen$ive often worthless system? ---

Since I am not going to pay a monthly fee for extras in my radio, and it has car play, I use the Maps on my phone to show up on my infotainment screen… I’m pretty sure if my little Toyota has car play, so does your Lexus… ---

AFAIK, the only new or newish vehicle without both features are the Chevy Blazer & Equinox EVs, as well as some other GM models. Also, I think I read that both Tesla and Rivian are using some sort of proprietary system instead of Carplay or Android Auto. CR recently highlighted the lack of Carplay and Android Auto as one of the shortcomings of the Equinox EV. ---

Sorry I was using car play like Skill saw, I have both as most do, and I use Android Auto with a Motorola Sound MA1 wireless adapter so my phone does not have to be plugged into the USB port… I installed my AVS rain deflectors last night while listening to my phone though the trucks speakers that were about 10 feet away from each other… ---
