The horn clicks when pushed. When the car alarm goes off, is it the horn blowing or does the alarm have it’s own noise-maker?

Does the click mean the relay needs replacing? Is this a DIY job or a shop job?

 Thanks

You can get a horn at a junkyard or get an aftermarket one at [amazon.com](http://amazon.com).
Horns are easy to change if you’re handy with a socket wrench.

Thanks! But if the alarm/security system works fine, does that indicate that the horn itself works and the problem is the connection between the steering wheel and the horn?

Only your ears can answer the first question.
Look for a shop that will diagnose the problem and not just change parts first.
