One of the Maint recommends was to have the valves adjusted? Does this still need to be done on a 2005 vehicle with 25K miles?

Check the recommended maintenance schedule that cam with your owner’s manual. If it isn’t listed, it isn’t necessary.

I’m betting it isn’t listed.

What is a “Maint”?

Read the maintenance schedule that came with the vehicle. If it specifies checking the valve adjustment at a certain mileage, then it’s necessary. You could check it yourself if you have the proper tools and equipment, or you could pay a mechanic to do it.

25K seems too soon. I’d think 30k would be more realistic.
