My window clicks every second when depressed.

I’m not depressed, only the down knob.

Motor or regulator or both? Off track?

If the lowered window is level to the top of the car-door, I’d guess it is not off track.
The switch may have gotten wet and is now defective. Think back if it has a history of getting wet, as this is most likely your problem.

You know what? You are magnificent! I recalled the last downpour of flooding rain in Austin when I was stuck in traffic; my car doors were drenched since my blower gave out, so the condensation was unbearable; hence windows open! I explained that to the mechanic today since I thought back about the day it started to act up! Only after the “typhoon”! Thank you. Please respond, Nancy
