My 1999 Honda Civic (195K miles) has started to suddenly stall within the first 10 minutes of driving it. When it stalls, the entire dash goes dark, making me think it’s an electrical problem. Could this at all be related to the ignition switch recall from 2002???

It’s possible. Was this vehicle included in the recall?

You can easily find out by contacting Honda through their website and submitting the VIN.
