I’m considering buying a 2000-2002 vintage Honda Odyssey and all the ones in my price range have anywhere from 110,000 to 165,000 miles on them. What problems should I look for outside of the transmission and timing belt?

Transmission, transmission, transmission.

They didn’t build a reliable tranny until around 2004. I own a 2002 with 104,000 on it and not a single thing has gone wrong with it BUT I’m crossing my fingers that the tranny doesn’t die on me.

I’d look for a Sienna of this vintage or a slightly newer Odyssey with a better transmission.
