# Help With A Sound?

My car’s been making a bit of a strange sound for a while now. Initially I thought it might have been belt related but I had my belts checked and tightened last week and it’s still here. If anyone has any ideas I’d be interested to hear them. Thanks.

My best guess is that the bearings in the belt tensioner and/or the idler pulley are going dry. This would certainly not be unusual on a 15 year old car.
