I’m trying to change the headlamp on the drivers side of my 2006 ford focus. This is my first time attempting to change a headlamp by myself. I’ve gotten as far as to remove the rubber cap and twist the black ring that locks in the bulb assembly, however, when I try to pull the bulb assembly out, it won’t come out. I’m afraid to use much force because I don’t want to break anything. Advice? ---

Remove the black locking ring. Then the bulb holder should pop right out. You may not be using enough force. This video might help. ---

The bulb has a seal, which is stuck to the headlamp You need to wiggle the bulb side to side, to break that seal
