i have 2002 Ford Taurus with heater problem

have replaced thermostat and checked antifreeze which seemed to be leaking. Added leak stop and more antifreeze. Takes long time (at least half hour) to warm up but never hot. Also smell of antifreeze in car.

Forget the leakstop, get the leak fixed. It’s probably the heater core.
