I have a 2005 Chrysler Seebring and the heater will not warm up until I have driven about 20 minutes. When the car stops, the heater also stops blowing out warm air. Can anyone help me with this problem?

Unless you have an engine over-heating problem there likely isn’t any restrictions in the cooling system (including the heater core or hoses).

Only one other reason (I can think of) may be a stuck thermostat making the engine run cold.

I’m betting on a faulty blend door. Whether vacuum or electrically controlled.

I think you got a thermostat that is stuck open. Is your car also giving you low gas mileage. A cold engine will cause rich fuel-air ratio.

Is there supposed to be restrictions in the heater core and hoses? I think you have a faulty thermostat OR the coolant is low (but I expect you checked that).

Do you have any idea how much that would cost?

First, check the coolant level. If it is OK, you’ll ned to have a mechanic look at it to rule out a bad thermostat, as mentioned above, or air-bleed the system. That should fix it.
